About UsThe West Benton County church of Christ is a spiritual family striving to do the will of God. We call ourselves Christians (Acts 11:26) and lay hold on to the Bible as our one and only truth. We seek to serve God based on His teachings and His pattern revealed in His Word, the Bible.
The West Benton County church of Christ is devoted to worshiping God and obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are devoted to the belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and that He has built His church (Matthew 16:13-18). By obeying the same gospel today that men and women obeyed in the first century, we can be Christians just as they were (Luke 8:4-15; 1 Peter 1:22-25; Acts 11:26). The name “church of Christ” is a biblical description of Christians who work together for the cause of Christ (Romans 16:16). We are not affiliated with any denomination or other groups, but are an autonomous body acknowledging Christ as the only head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23). Our website is a way to introduce ourselves to the community and to anyone who may be visiting the area. This web site is also offered to you as an opportunity to learn more about God's will for your life. We welcome your Bible questions and comments, and will gladly respond with Bible answers to your Bible questions. Please see our contact link to get in touch with us through email, phone, or mail. We invite you to come and search the scriptures with us at any of our public worship services or Bible studies. If you are interested in a Bible study in your home, visit our schedule a study link. |
